1. The weekly meeting starts at 6:00 with the first 25 minutes to hang out and talk with other people.
2. At 6:25 there is a welcome and introduction and short presentation about that evenings subject.
3. From 6:30 to 7:00 people gather in groups of 3 and two groups of six will discuss the first idea page. (Each person will have 3 to 4 minutes to share. You can also pass and just listen)
4. At 7:00 the groups of 3 will rotate to create a new group of 6 to discuss the worksheet page until 7:30.
5. From 7:30 to 8:00 people can hang out for casual conversations.

1. Healthy Eating Strategies
STRATEGY 1 - Good Eating Habits
Chewing your food thoroughly helps you get more nutrients out of it, helps digestion and helps prevent choking. Walking for 5 to 10 minutes after a meal helps you digest it.
Starting your meal with low glycemic food like a salad, vegetables or cheese can help lower your insulin spike followed by protein and then desert can be helpful. Measuring your food on a scale can also be helpful.
STRATEGY 2 - Creating Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner Meal Menus
What are healthy foods you can eat for breakfast, lunch and dinner?
What are healthy snacks? What healthy foods from the different food groups can you combine for a healthy meal? What portions of each food? What are foods you want include? What are foods you want to avoid?
STRATEGY 3 - Schedule Your Meals
The human body likes a schedule. It helps to have a regular time of day when you eat breakfast, lunch and dinner. Not eating after 7:00 at night is suggested to help lose weight.
